I really didn't intend to read the entire book yesterday. I had other things to do, dammit. I had *sleep* to get, even when I took the book upstairs for just a chapter or two.
Given my past experience with her books, I suppose I should have known better.
Late Eclipses, by seanan_mcguire, is the 4th Toby Daye book, and in my opinion the best one yet. I'm also pretty sure you could start the series with this one and not be lost, though the universe will be far richer if you do start from the beginning.
This book also accomplishes the really amazing feat of turning the whole canon on its end just enough to make me want to reread the entire series from the beginning. It will be interesting to see if the books retain their ability to suck up my ENTIRE LIFE the second time around.
(And oh, Tybalt... that perfect blend of sweet and savage that quite eliminates my clarity of thought....)
