gnostic ping

(center of pestilence alert)

So the primary tenets of my religion (Thelema) are "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law." and "Love is the law, love under will."

I always assumed that "love under will" meant that love was shaped by and in service to will.

But what if you flip it? What if "love under will" is not hierarchical, but means that love is the foundation for will?

Match that up with Liber Librae and the structure of the Book of the Law and I start to get all sorts of interesting things.

I always thought of it in both ways, but tend towards the "love as foundation" interpretation.

The Tao of Thelema/Agape
I agree with z111 it works both ways. More often than not I also tend towards "love as a foundation".
