So, for today's dose of human stupidity....

I was pleased a while back to discover that my new audiologist's office had email. "Hooray!" I thought. "They realize many of their patients may have trouble with the phone, and accommodate them. How considerate! Now I can make my own appointments rather than having to bug Andrei!"

Yesterday I emailed them to make an appointment, as my molds need to be remade really really badly and I finally have a little bit of headspace to spare to think about such things.

Today I get this email: "Could you call me at ###-####? I tried the number on your account and there was no answer."

I sent back the polite but pointed response: "I cannot use the telephone due to my hearing impairment, hence my attempt to set an appointment up via email."

No response as yet.
