Brains explained!

How making decisions tires your brain

This is *awesome*, because it concretely explains a phenomenon that's driven me crazy for years but I've never been able to put my finger on - why, after a very productive day, I feel more drained than accomplished. It would seem to be because the exhaustion from making so many choices outweighs the satisfaction from getting them done.

Now to see if managing the number of choices I have to make in a day will mitigate that effect at all.

That's the problem with free will, innit?

Hello, I found you in firesea_coop, to which I was directed by s00j in the hope that I might find someone likely to welcome a ride-share to Faerieworld. However, I felt it would be a bit presumptuous to apply for membership to the community solely to ask for a carpool.

If you know of anyone with an extra seat, please let me know, either here or by email, eli@greek2me.com. Thank you!

Thank you!!!!!
You are my hero for today. I always feel exhausted when I have to make all the decisions about everything, all the time. And now I know why!
