Okay, there's Mercury retrograde used as an excuse for little things going awry, and there's Mercury retrograde WITH A FUCKING VENGEANCE.

We've been having cascade computer failures for three days now, on top of the previous week of bizarre and flaky technological behavior. My laptop's in the shop, Andrei was up all night recovering our primary workstation, and we awoke to find the power in the office blown and the server refusing to come back up.

Hey, Merc, dude. QUIT IT. Or I'll come take those winged sandals and shove them up your ass so far you'll be spitting feathers for a week.

Week? Try nearly a month. Mercury's getting an asskicking. This retrograde's been fucking with people medically especially.

Very sorry to hear about your computer troubles. Just what you don't need, I'm sure. Very frustrating to say the least.

I once had a dear friend, who was dedicated to Mercury the god, sit down and have a chat with him (in the Neo-pagan sense, rather than the K&Cw/HGA sense) about the actions and ramifications of Mercury the planet going retrograde. What Mercury had to say was this: Do you yell at Diana when the moon goes void of course? Do you yell at Saturn when he "returns"? I am a god, that is a planet.

been hiding from....
NOTHING! I have had the audacity to stand in the storms way lately. I wonder if I'll actually come out of it unscathed (no), with stories to tell (hopes so) friendships still in tact (the jury is still out on that) and my truck fixed (go Mercury! When will THIS get settled?)

I couldn't agree more -- on the feathers bit!

My health has been screwed. I am working on a 28.8 since I currently without cable service. My move took 3 weeks to complete instead of one week, with my body at muscle failure the entire time. And to top it all off, I am driving my dad's car w/no power steering, bad brakes and a dying water pump BECAUSE my car needs transmission work. Studying the inward meanings of Mercury in my life does NOT make this retrograde worth it! Where is that goat-forsaken reset button?!?

My crowning moment so far this retrograde has been falling over a rather small crack on the side walk and spraining my foot the day before having to get on a plane.
