Well, I am now a baptized member of the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica; oddly enough, nearly exactly twenty years after my first baptism (Episcopal Christian).

It can be entertaining yet surreal at times to let some of my mental voices be taken over by the 'me's of five, ten, fifteen years ago. All of them are currently stunned into silence by the idea that I'm officially a member of a church again, let alone a Catholic one. I swore off organized religion when I left Christianity; I saw it as the root to many of the problems the world has today, a damper on individual thought and free will, more of a tool for control of the masses than a means for community improvement and achievement. But from what I've seen, the EGC is much harder to abuse in that way - and as a part of it I'm going to do my damnedest to see that it never is.
